Can I Pay for my trip in Payments?
YES! A deposit is required to secure reservation, and the remaining balance is due as directed by the vendor. Between the deposit and the final payment date, you may make as many payments as you want as often as you want. We work with you to make your plans work!
A second option is to use Uplift, and finance your trip over 12 months. The advantage of Uplift is that you can start your payment plans at final payment if you want. Often Uplift is less expensive than using a credit card.

What is real ID and how does it effect me?
Real ID is a US federal government standard for IDs. IDs that are Real ID compliant have the star in the corner. Effective October 2021, you will be required to have a Real ID compliant ID or a passport in order to fly on all planes, no matter where they are going. Even if you are staying in the US.
Vance World Travel strongly recommends upgrading your ID to Real ID compliance when you renew, or if necessary, request a new one. Typically they cost the same, but there is some paperwork requirements that is different. All of this varies by state.

Question 2
Cruise FAQs
What is an obstructed Room?
Based on the design of a ship, there may be some rooms that have an obstruction either out the window or in front of the balcony. Most often it is a lifeboat, or some other mechanical gear, and typically it is in front of Oceanview rooms. You can save some money by booking obstructed view. It's all up to you and what you might prefer.
What is a Guarantee room?
In short, you pay for a category of room, the minimum that is acceptable to you, and the cruise line will assign you a room that is guaranteed to be that type of room or better.
Where is the best room on the ship?
Obviously this is going to vary from ship to ship... and even based on personal preferences. Most people elevator... I like to be close, but not next to the elevator. The elevators themselves don't make much (if any) noise, and most times they open to a lobby not in front of the rooms. But they do generate some foot traffic.
For me, I like to be 2-4 rooms away from the elevator, but not too far down the hall. You are likely to go back and forth to your room throughout your trip, and the further down the hall you are, the more additional walking you have to do to get there... each time, both ways.
The big one to avoid, if you can is being directly above or especially below a lounge or night club. The music and dancing may keep you awake. That said, on some ships it isn't a problem, and on smaller ships, you can't really hide from those things.
