Azamara is a luxury cruise line that is mostly about the ports. Sure the ships are a floating luxury hotel, but the overall one of a kind experience is the ports. With longer stays in smaller ports, including overnights, and deeper immersion in local culture, this is more than just a boat ride. That's why they say "Explore Further". Certainly they have great food, and attentive service, but with Azamara it really is port focused. The entertainment carries this theme, with a an AzAmazing event, a special event customized to the local culture, from concerts, to lectures, to other exclusive opportunities.
Those under 21 years old are not allowed to sail on Azamara.. so no kids anywhere on the ship.
The ships are considered medium in size and are spacious for the number of passengers. Azamara describes the ships as being floating boutique hotels. Personal service, 24 hours room service and more.. you get to explore multiple locals and cultures without having to pack and re-pack every night... a little like a river cruise.
Promotions on Azamara are not as common as on mass-market or premium cruise lines. When they run a special we will make sure you get all the savings you are eligible for.
