The Return To Travel

No one ever said the road was going to be easy, but looking at what we can see, it does look like we are heading towards a return to travel.  The Covid world, for travel and many other things, has been terrible.  The number, trends, and expert indicators seem to be all pointing towards the end being relatively near.  Travel will return at the same rate as overall confidence.  Bookings are up now... proving that some people agree with my view of the future.  Here are a few thoughts...

Whenever you are ready... definitely never going to pressure anyone... and booking now requires the added attention to the escape plan.

An escape plan is where we hopefully answer the question "If Covid continues how do I get out of the trip if I decide not to travel?"  The answer to this will vary by vendor.  Some vendors are starting already to reduce the escape options.  The temporary adjustments to cancelation policies are starting to go away, at least in some cases.  I can help you find a travel option that gets you an escape plan you are comfortable with.

Book now or wait (part 2)
Space is starting to fill up, and this can push up prices, especially cruise prices.  Capacity is limited, even in normal times.  As space fills, prices increase.  It is not impossible that when things get better, there may be limited availability (do to heavy bookings) and high prices.  The solution... if you pair the right vendor, with the right escape plan, then book early... knowing you can get out of it (cancel) if need be.
